Could I have been wrong about having surgery for weight loss all of these years?  I do sometimes have a tendency to jump to  conclusions.  As a health coach, I have had instances where I have been asked my opinion on weight loss surgeries.  I also think it was my natural inclination to be against  it.  I do truly believe that lifestyle modifications can change your body and hep you lose the weight.  Yet, this is a topic that I didn’t really have any true knowledge about and never really took the time to look into the pros and cons of it.

Today I had the pleasure of actually interviewing someone who really knows what they are talking about when it comes to having surgery for weight loss.  Michele Jacobs is the founder and owner of Be Well Lifestyle LLC.  Coach Michele’s mission is to inform and educate people about surgery as an option for weight loss.  Having had the surgery herself, she wishes to share her experience with the world in order for people to understand the pros and the cons of this procedure.

Listen in as Michele tells her story about how having the surgery helped her down a path of health and wellness.  Michele and I talk about some of the less talked about complications of this type of surgery.  We learn how Michele was able to be considered a success story and was able to keep the weight off 7 years after the initial surgery.  We also get to know whether Michele would do the surgery again!
